JAMMU, Sept 15: The Business School, University of Jammu launched the activities of the Student Management Club with a Business Quiz in its Executive Convention Hall, here today.
Prof Versha Mehta, Director, The Business School while inaugurating the event lauded the role of the team of the management club in organizing the event and emphasized upon the importance of such activities in overall development of the management students and in enhancing the institutional ranking.
While motivating the students for active participation, she reiterated that such activities need to be student driven so as to build upon student competencies of leadership and team management.
Bilal Tak, president Management Club welcomed all the students to the Quiz and six teams comprising of two members each were invited.
Priyanka and Gautam were declared the winners, while the team of Raghav and Tanushree remained runners-up. The teams were awarded in the valedictory session.
Earlier, corporate delegates and TBS alumni Nishchint Mahaldar, Regional Product Manager, HDFC Bank, Jalandhar and Vishabvir Singh, General Manager, Toyota Dealership, Jammu interacted with the students. Faculty members Prof Alka Sharma, Dr Sameer Gupta, Dr Vinay Chauhan and Dr Rachna also spoke on the occasion.
Faculty member Isha Chaman conduted the proceedings of the event, while Himani coordinated the Business Quiz.
