JAMMU, Sept 13: A 4-day free Raffa Boules camp for special children concluded today at Jammu Sanskriti School. The camp saw participation from about 30 special children from various classes, including 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades. These young athletes competed in both single and double matches as well as the Raffa throw.
The closing ceremony was graced by Rohini Aima, Principal and Vice Chairperson of the school, as the chief guest. The camp was organized under the leadership of Sunny Nanda, General Secretary of the Raffa Boules Indian Federation. Raffa, an ancient sport originating from Italy, is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Special educators Surya Khajuria, Bhawana Sarotra, Ambica Gupta, and Komal Arya were also present to support the event.
