JAMMU, Sept 23: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta today strongly condemned Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stated that he is frustrated by the growing popularity of PM Modi.
Kavinder was chairing a meeting of party workers held here today.
He said, “Rahul Gandhi’s statements are not only misleading but also reflect his frustration due to the growing popularity of PM Modi and the successful policies of the BJP. Under Modi’s leadership, India has witnessed unprecedented development, peace, and progress. The 56-inch chest that Rahul Gandhi mocks symbolizes the strength of a leader who has made India a global power.”
Kavinder said, “It is the Congress that has historically thrived on divisive politics, whereas the BJP, under the guidance of the Prime Minister, is focused on uniting the nation and ensuring inclusive growth. No amount of psychological warfare or baseless allegations can weaken PM Modi’s resolve to serve the nation.”
“Rahul Gandhi’s repeated attacks on the Prime Minister and the BJP are nothing but an attempt to divert attention from Congress’ failures and their lack of vision for the country. The ‘Indi Alliance’ he speaks of is built on political opportunism, not a national interest,” Kavinder said and added that Rahul Gandhi’s narrative may work in election rallies, but the reality is that the people of J&K stand with PM Modi for the transformation and peace brought to the region.
He further urged the party workers to intensify their efforts, emphasizing that only seven days remain ahead of third phase of Assembly polls.
