JAMMU, Jan 9: Brilliant bowling performance by Rahul and Jasbir guided Jammu Cricket Club (JCC) to register 3 wickets win over Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC) in the league match and to qualify for the next round of the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Tournament, being sponsored by KC Hyundai, Jammu.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, RCC scored 94 runs for all out. Satish was the top scorer with 20 runs while Akash Manhas contributed 16 runs to the total.
For JCC side, Rahul and Jasbir were the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets each.
JCC in reply chased the target by losing 7 wickets. Siddarth Magotra scored 31 runs and Gurdeep Singh made 18 runs.
For RCC side, Kuldeep took 3 wickets, whileas Amit and Satish shared 2 wickets each.
Jasbir of JCC was declared as man of the match.
In the second match, WCC beat JKP by 6 wickets. Batting first JKP scored 94 runs by losing 9 wickets. In reply WCC chased the target by losing only 4 wickets. KD Singh was declared as man of the match.
