JAMMU, May 27: All India Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s one day visit to earthquake hit areas of Doda and Bhaderwah towns on May 28 has been postponed in view of his pre-occupation at Chhatisgarh, where senior Congress leaders were killed and kidnapped by the Maoists in Bastar district on May 25.
Mr Gandhi was scheduled to visit quake affected areas to assess the damage suffered by the people in the earthquake of May 1 followed by fortnight long aftershocks.
Sources said Rahul Gandhi’s schedule for Doda and Bhaderwah tour would be revised.
