JAMMU, Jan 28: Alleged misbehavior with a Railway Engineer by Railway Protection Force (RPF) Jawans following some tiff over stoppage of a train, led to strong protest by the Northern Railway employees posted at Jammu station, here today.
The protesting employees alleged that RPF Jawans misbehaved with Junior Engineer Akshay Sharma, who had gone to the Station for restart of the Uttar Sampark Kranti, which was stopped by someone by pulling the chain, last night.
The Railway employees, led by Northern Railway Mazdoor Union Jammu Branch leaders, held a strong protest demonstration and demanded stern action against the erring RPF Jawans.
Later, the matter was resolved with the intervention of senior officers of Northern Railway and RPF.
