UDHAMPUR, May 14: The rain hit farmers in Udhampur have demanded relief as their crop of vegetables, fruits and flowers has been severely damaged.
Heavy rainfall in the area during the last two days, has caused huge loss to the farmers of Panchari, Bhamag and Latti in Udhampur
The affected small farmers from village Badhota, Galiote, Kotla, Kultayar, Meer, Chulna, Panjar and Moungari in block Panchari have appealed the district administration to assess the agricultural as well as horticultural losses and provide them compensation on humanitarian grounds.
