JAMMU, Dec 8: Management, staff and students of Raina Hr Secondary School Paloura celebrated its 39th Annual Day-cum-Prize Distribution Function, here today.
Dr Nutan Resutra, chairman, J&K Board of School Education was the chief guest on the occasion, while Kamal Gupta, president, Private Schools Association presided over the Function.
The Programme started with the welcome address by BD Raina, Managing Director of the School.
The Function was inaugurated by the chief guest by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
The students presented a colourful programme which included Saraswati Vandana, Patriotic Song, Group Songs, Radha Krishna Dance, Dogri Dance, Kashmiri Dance, Bhojpuri Dance, Haryanvi Dance, Rasslela, Break Dance and Solo Items.
Later-on, the dignitaries along with the School Principal, Bishan Singh distributed prizes among the winners and advised the teachers to give their best and students to come up to the expectations of their teachers and the parents.
