Raina, Jugal discuss COVID issue with former Health Ministers

JAMMU, Oct 1: Senior BJP leaders discussed the current situation prevailing in Jammu & Kashmir amidst Corona Pandemic at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina took up the issue with former BJP State president & MP (Lok Sabha), Jugal Kishore Sharma accompanied by former BJP State president & former Minister, Sat Sharma and 3 former Health Ministers of Jammu & Kashmir and J&K BJP vice-president, Sham Sharma, BJP general secretary, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal and Bali Bhagat and BJP general secretary, Vibodh Gupta.
Current health scenario in J&K was discussed at length and breadth in the meeting with special focus on the facilities available in the Hospitals and Health Centres and their proper utilization by the medical teams to provide best services to both the COVID and non-COVID patients. It was specially stressed that there should be no patient that has suffered for the want of facility that could be provided to him or her with the available resources.
Ravinder Raina, focused that regular feedbacks will be sought from the actual working grounds i.e. from all the hospitals and the Medical Colleges like Jammu, Doda, Anantnag etc, so that the issues of the masses could be addressed promptly.
Raina also discussed the various shortcomings that were brought to the notice of party senior leadership by ground level party activists that are being faced by general public.
It was decided that immediately a deputation comprised of former Health Ministers of BJP will call on LG, Manoj Sinha to discuss the district wise and hospital wise health facilities available in J&K and the ways to improve the facilities, so that both the COVID and non-COVID patients get equal attention and best possible treatment. The delegation will be led by Ravinder Raina.
It was emphasized that no issue should remain as far as the health of the residents of J&K is concerned, while discussing all the treatment issues that have been brought to notice of party leaders by masses.
Meanwhile, it was also finalized that Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP will visit the GMC, tomorrow to review the functioning and the availability of health facilities to the masses.
