JAMMU, July 5: Due to thunderstorm and heavy rains, the power supply was snapped in many areas while roads got blocked.
The power supply was snapped in view of thunderstorm and heavy rains in many areas including Janipur, Talab Tillo, Canal Road, Channi, Bakshi Nagar, etc.
Due to overflowing nullahs and poor drainage system, the roads also got blocked in various localities. In some areas including Gandhi Nagar and Domana, the tress fell down due to thunderstorm.
At various locations, water also entered the houses and shops.
People, however, also condemned the Jammu Municipal Corporation for poor sanitation and sewage system.
