JAMMU, Mar 21: MLA Jammu East & party chief whip Rajesh Gupta inaugurated the work of the laying of tile & path at Alexander Memorial School in Ward No. 7 costing Rs. 4.76 lakhs. Rajesh Gupta was accompanied by JMC officials Executive Engineer, Satish Kumar Wali, AEE Rajeev Pandoh , JE R.K. Koul & JE Mohd. Yaseen.
MLA was also accompanied by School Principal Esther Williams & Rehabaran Uday Singh, Rampaul and was also accompanied by BJP leaders Gulshan Mahajan, Girdharilal, Surinder Annand, Samson Gill, Amit Sohtra, Sanjay and Shamsher .
Rajesh Gupta, while speaking on the occasion said that the role of the Christian community in the spread of education is laudable. He said that many illustrious students have passed out of this school who have made significant contribution in various fields in the State and outside.
The prominent who accompanied the MLA included Kuldeep Kandhari, Rajinder Gupta, Rajkumar, Amit Kumar Gupta, Hariom Sharma and Vinay Gupta.
