JAMMU, Nov 25: MLA East Rajesh Gupta kick started the black topping of all the lanes of Lajpat Nagar in Ward No.19.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs five lakh and the MLA gave instructions to the engineers to complete the project within the stipulated time frame.
MLA was accompanied by the concerned officials looking after the works including JMC AEE Gurbachan Singh,JE Ashok Sharma and senior BJP leaders Sunil Dogra, Prof.Shyam ,P.C. Gupta, Rajeev Bhardwaj, Ashwani Sharma and Girdhari Lal.
Rajesh Gupta while addressing the gathering said that the liberal financial assistance from the Centre would change the ground situation in the State and we must act with a positive attitude and assist the Government in realizing the developmental objectives in the spirit of Sab ka Saath Sab Ka Vikaas.
Rajesh Gupta, while speaking on the occasion said that he is working with a vision in his mind whereby the entire area of the Jammu East would be developed on a modern and scientific basis. Lack of sufficient open spaces is creating a problem but then we have to work within these constraints and yet create a better environment for the people to live and conduct day to day business.
