Rajinder, Kuldeep part of Indian contingent for 9th Asian Wushu C’ship

JAMMU, Aug 29: Rajinder Singh and Kuldeep Handoo from Jammu and Kashmir will be the part of the Indian team, which has left today to participate in the 9th Asian Wushu Championship to be held in Taiwan, China from tomorrow to September 6.
Rajinder Singh from J&K has been selected in the Indian team and will participate in Sanshou category in 90 kilograms weight category.
Rajinder Singh has secured bronze medal in the 5th Pars Cup at Iran in 2015.
Prior to the Asian Championship, Indian Wushu team attended one month Foreign Exposure Training at Shandong, China from July 1 to 30.
Kuldeep Handoo, Chief Coach from J&K has been selected as an official/coach of Indian team, which is participating in the 9th Asian Wushu Championship.
Surya Bhanu Partap Singh, Rajinder Singh and Kuldeep Handoo were the part of the India team for the training at China. Coach Kuldeep Handoo and the players were in the National Wushu Coaching Camp since May 20 at different SAI centers.
Surya Bhanu Partap Singh and Kuldeep Handoo have also been selected for the 8th Sanda World Cup to be held at Xian, China from November 1 to 7.
The Office Bearers of Wushu Association of J&K, S Owais, HK Lohia, Yogesh Sawhney, Vijay Saraf, Ranjeet Kalra, Deepak Handa and Sunil Sharma wished good luck to Kuldeep Handoo and Rajinder Singh.
