JAMMU, Oct 2: A three day-long Rajinder Magotra Memorial Basketball tournament concluded at Mini Stadium Parade Ground, here today.
On the final day, the match between Biba Boys and Rajinder Memorial Sports Club was conducted for third position in which Biba boys emerged winners. The final match was played between STC Warriors and JK Police teams in which the JK Police team emerged victorious. The final score was 90 -110.
The top scorer from the winning team was Iqbal Singh with 69 points and the top scorer from the runner-up team was Ranbir with 33 points. Iqbal Singh from the JK Police team was declared as player of the tournament.
Chief guest on this occasion was Mukesh Singh, ADGP, Jammu and Sandeep Pandita, The Director Academics Staff College and Director International Students while special guest was Ranjit Kalra, Member J&K Sports Council who distributed prizes among the winners.
