JAMMU, Dec 22: Rajinder Singh of Jammu and Kashmir claimed silver medal in the Asia Cup held at Guangzhou in China, recently.
Singh lost to the contestant from China in the finals.
Pertinent to mention here, that Mr Singh secured bronze medal in the 14th Worlds Wushu Championship at Kazan in Russia and has qualified for the World Cup to be held in 2018.
Secretary J&K State Sports Council lauded the efforts of the player for this achievement and congratulated him and his coach Kuldeep handoo (Chief coach of India) for the same.
President of the Association, Vijay Saraf extended thanks to Secretary State Sports Council for his support.
