RAJOURI, Mar 18: Rajouri District Chess championship began at Sun Rising Public Higher Secondary school, Jawahar Nagar here today.
Anil Mehta inaugurated the event in an impressive and well attended function. Faisal and Bumika won the gold medals in boys and girls categories.
Ajit Singh is the chief organizer of the event who also gave tips and material to the players for improvement. He is a certified trainer having a diploma in training.
It is pertinent to mention here that AJKCA under the guidance of Atul Kumar Gupta, its President is holding training camps and Chess events throughout the State continuously besides events.
It was the first ever training camp held in Rajouri district.
