JAMMU, Sept 1: Rajouri Royals registered win over Nowshera Knights in the inaugural tie of the Dhanidar Premier Cricket League, which commenced at District Police Lines, Rajouri.
This is the first in a series of sporting events to be conducted by the Army to promote sports and inculcate spirit of camaraderie.
Eight teams from various districts including Rajouri Royals, Doda Daredevils, Ramban Rambos, Mahore Mambas, Kishtwar Killers, Poonch Panthers, Nowshera Knights and Mighty Mughals are participating in first edition of the league.
The tournament caught the attention and excitement of the locals as large number of spectators turned out to witness the opening match.
