RAJOURI, Sept 25: Host Rajouri district, Samba and Udhampur were among the winners in State Level Inter-District Under-19 Volleyball Tournament, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the patronage its Director General, Navin Aggarwal, here.
The other winners included the districts of Srinagar, Jammu and Poonch.
Earlier, Rajouri defeated Doda, Srinagar got better of Kulgam, Samba prevailed over Budgam, Udhampur thrashed Ganderbal and Budgam, Jammu outplayed Doda and Poonch trounced Ganderbal.
In the matches played last evening, Jammu drubbed Kulgam, Rajouri outclassed Srinagar, Poonch lost to Samba, Samba defeated Ganderbal, Doda outclassed Kulgam, Jammu beat Srinagar, Udhampur got better of Poonch, Budgam trounced Ganderbal and Rajouri thrashed Jammu.
The tournament is being held under the overall supervision of Ved Parkash, Deputy Director, Jammu and the matches were officiated by Wali Mohd, Mohd Hanif, Mohd Shabir, Khalid Hussain, Kulzar Ahmed, Ved Parkash and Bharat Bhushan.
