Pulwama Cricket League-2023 concludes

Pulwama, Aug 11: Pulwama Police under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP) organized a knock-out T-20 Cricket tournament which was earlier inaugurated by DIG South Kashmir, Mohd. Rayees Bhat concluded here today at Sports Stadium Rajpora, here.
At the closing ceremony, Senior Superintendent of Police, Pulwama Mohd Yousif was chief guest and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DAR), Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), SHO Police Station Rajpora and other officers of district were present.
The final match of the T20 cricket tournament was played between Rajpora Royals Cricket Club and Lala 11 Rajpora in which Rajpora Royals Cricket Club defeated Lala 11 Rajpora by 75 runs and emerged as winners of the tournament. The tournament was played on knock out basis in which 16 teams from different areas of Rajpora Belt participated.
SSP Pulwama said that Pulwama Police has always been on the forefront in providing a platform to youth and guide them in following their goals by organizing different events in the District. He also presented trophies and medals to the winning and runner up teams. The winning and runner-up teams were awarded with trophies, cash prize of worth Rs 20000 and Rs 10000 respectively. Man of the Match award (Cricket Bat) was given to Yamin Nazir and man of the series award (Sports Kit) was given to Imran Akbar.
