SAMBA, Sept 22: Rakesh Sharma, a student of class 9th of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, bagged first position in the debate competition on “Drug Addiction is a Social Evil” organised by of People Forum for Human Values, here today
In the competition, Akshay Kumar and Pardeep Kumar of class 11th shared second position.
On the occasion, Neelam Gandotra, Principal of the school, presided over the function while Raj Badyal, Patron of the Forum and Colonel Karan Singh, president were the guests of honour, who presented awards to the winners.
Among others present were Advocate Subash Singh, Master Puran Singh, GN Singh, Virender Singh, Tarun Pargal, Milap Singh, Ghanshyam Sharma, faculty members and students.
