JAMMU, Dec 2: Rakesh Kumar has been conferred with Sher-I-Kashmir Sports Award by the Government of J&K UT recently in a simple function, held at MA Stadium for their outstanding performance in discipline of Powerlifting.
He had represented India twice in International Championship including Commonwealth and World Powerlifting Championship. He has qualified for the upcoming World Powerlifting Championship which is scheduled to be held at Amravati, Maharashtra on December 4, 2020.
