JAMMU, Aug 29: Ram Khajuria has been re-elected as president of the Tawi Trekkers while Mridhu Padha was elected as vice president of the Club, here today.
Shawetica Khajuria and Sakshi Magotra were unanimously elected as general secretary and joint secretary, whereas Kamal Kumar was again elected as treasurer and Vivek Chauhan, Principal of Oriental Academy Higher Secondary School Jammu, Sunil Chakharia and Anukampa Sharma were unanimously elected as executive members of the Club.
It was decided in the election meeting which was conducted by Prof Lalit Magotra, a founder member and now an advisor of the Club, in the presence of an observer from Mountaineering Association of J&K, Sonam Sidharth at Press Club Jammu.
