JAMMU, July 19: Age is just a number for Ram Paul Kapoor, a retired J&K Bank Officer and son of the soil who brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by winning Gold medal at Chandigarh Half Marathon.
The Chandigarh Half Marathon was held on July 16 where Ram Paul Kapoor participated in a 10 kilometer run and completed the race with timing 53:07minutes. He participated in the age group of 60-69 years. The Chandigarh half marathon was conducted by B M Education on drugs to make people aware of this menace especially youth of this country.
The statement said that this is his third consecutive gold medal of the year 2023 and now his medal tally has reached to 39. Jammu and Kashmir Master Athlete Association, President Abdul Qayoom, Sudesh Kumari, vice president, and Tarseem Lal Basotra, General Secretary applauded him for this achievement.
