Ram Paul demands Assembly elections without delay

JAMMU, July 6: After the year 2014, no Assembly election has been conducted in J&K due to which the people here are being deprived of their constitutional and democratic rights.
This was stated by NC Zonal president, Babu Ram Paul while addressing his Party workers in a meeting at Khara Madana in Samba district.
The meeting was organized by Bharat Bhushan, secretary and coordinator, District Samba Central Zone NC.
Ram Paul was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Zonal secretary NC, Dr. Vikas Sharma; Zonal secretary, B.D Dalotra and Zonal secretary, Sandesh Shan were guests of honour.
Paul said that keeping people without elections for long is the murder of democracy and urged upon the Centre to hold Assembly elections in J&K without any delay.
He claimed that the present scenario of J&K has pushed the youth towards depression and anxiety.
Shakeel Ahmed, Rashid (Panch), Sham Lal, Bittu, Tarsem, Yasir, Janak Raj, Suresh Kumar, Ragunath Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
