AKHNOOR, July 7: Rameshwar Cricket Club defeated Kameshwar Cricket Club by 6 wickets in the ongoing Summer Cup T-20 Under-19 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Singh Cricket Club at Govt Higher Secondary School ground, here.
Winning the toss and batting first, Kameshwar CC scored 120 runs in 18 overs, losing 9 wickets in the process. Anil, Mohit and Vinay contributed 17, 14 and 12 runs respectively. From Rameshwar CC Akhnoor, Kanav and Satyam took 3 wickets each, while Harsh and Sahil claimed 1wicket each.
In reply, Rameshwar CC made 121/4 in 13 overs to win the match by 6 wickets. Mohinder was the top scorer with 44 runs off 30 balls, while Satyam contributed 29 runs. From Kameshwar CC, Mohit took 2 wickets, while Anil and Sahil shared 1 wicket each. Satyam was adjudged as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Deepak Mangotra and Arun Kumar as umpires, while Amit Mangotra was the scorer.
