SAMBA, Sept 19: District police Samba today recovered a minor kidnapped girl from district Kathua.
Police said on September 17, a written report was lodged at Police Station (PS), Ramgarh by one person, a resident of Ward No. 07 Ramgarh, stating therein that his minor daughter went to school but didn’t return home.
All efforts were made out by the family members but the whereabouts of the missing girl could not be ascertained.
Acting swiftly, a case FIR No. 85/2022 U/S 363 IPC got registered at PS Ramgarh and search started to recover the said kidnapped girl.
After hectic efforts made by the police team of PS Ramgarh led by SHO PS Ramgarh, Inspector, Asha Nand under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur, Priyanka Kumari, the kidnapped girl was recovered from district Kathua.
After completing all legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her parents.
