RAMNAGAR, June 13: As part of week-long celebrations on the occasion of Raising Day of J&K Police, Ramnagar organized a cleanliness drive, here today.
The drive started from PS Ramnagar covering Modi Chowk, Gupta Chowk, Natha Singh Park, Bus Stand area and back to PS Ramnagar.
The main motto of the drive was to convey the message of cleanliness, environment-protection to the general public on the backdrop of J&K Police Raising day week long programmes.
Stress was laid to stop the use of polythene bags in daily-life usage as it is the main pollutant which is non-degradable causing various hazards.
SDPO Ramnagar, Abhishek Sharma and SHO Ramnagar Deepak Pathania spoke on discipline, valour and courage on the occasion.
