RMG International School celebrates Annual Day

NAGROTA, Feb 9: Underscoring the need for expanding and extending the avenues of quality education to most needy segment of society in rural areas, Provincial President National Conference Devender Singh Rana on Saturday called for societal involvement in achieving the objective of education for all.
“Shaping the foundation of child at pre-primary level is most crucial aspect of education”, Mr Rana said while addressing the Second Annual Day and Prize Distribution Function of RMG International School (Pre-Primary Wing) at Jandyal in Nagrota Assembly Constituency.
While expressing satisfaction over strides made by the school in this regard, Mr Rana said that much is still needed to be done to achieve the desired objectives. He recalled the times when little and limited avenues of quality education were available in rural areas and said the scenario has changed quite drastically now. He expressed happiness over growing consciousness and awareness among parents towards the education of their children and said this has helped in generating conducive atmosphere for them to grow.
Mr Rana complimented the management for organising important events like annual day in a befitting manner, saying that these remain treasure for the students all their life. He hoped that the school will continue to play its useful role in spreading the education.
The annual day function for the session 2018-19 was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm under the guidance of Rohit Gupta, Chairman and Mona Gupta, Director. Based on theme Vasundra, The Earth, the event included a series of thematic performances.
Gopal Singh, SDM, Akhnoor was Guest of Honour while Dheeraj Nagpal, SHO Gharota and Tarsem Lal ZEO Bhalwal were as the special guests.
Annual report of the session was also released and read by Karamjit Paul, CEO RMG.
Mona Gupta, Director RMG also spoke on the occasion.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Sarpanch Sain Khan, Ashwani Kumar, Nakahsatar Singh, Sanjeev Singh, Sohan Singh Sonu, Naseem Fatima, besides Sham Lal Sharma, Balbir Singh, Ravinder Singh (Peter), Anwar Khan, Kabla Singh, Rekha Langeh, Tajpal Singh, Talib Hussain, Sushma Devi, Kuldeep Singh (Retd ZEO) and Vijay Lochan.
