NEW DELHI, Jan 14: HR services provider Randstad has launched Randstad Technologies – a new entity for IT staffing business in India.
It will operate as a separate brand within Randstad India and would primarily focus on captive or Global In-house Centers (GIC), IT services and product companies.
Randstad Technologies will provide its IT clientele with on-demand and ready to deploy talent across main stream and niche IT skill sets, a company release said.
“The human resource landscape is fast evolving and requires companies to adapt and strategise accordingly. At Randstad, our objective is to deliver tremendous value-add to our customers who are becoming increasingly demanding as they face new talent challenges, especially in sectors like IT,” Randstad India MD and CEO Moorthy K Uppaluri said.
Randstad Technologies will operate like a virtual bench focused on delivering the right talent, ensuring regulatory compliance, thereby providing its clients with the flexibility and capability to service their end-customers and retain their competitive edge.
“There is a significant market in India and by carving out a compelling value proposition like ‘On Demand Technology Talent’, we will reinforce our brand position in the minds of our clients and candidates,” Randstad India President Staffing Amit Dhawan said.
Globally, Randstad is a strong player in IT staffing, with a presence of the Randstad Technologies brand in the North American market. In India, Randstad already has around 3,000 flex staff working with various IT clients. (PTI)
