JAMMU, Mar 3: Range Level Singing Programme-Talent Hunt competition “Chhoona Hai Aasman Season-5” under Civic Action Programme was organized by Range Police Headquarters Jammu at Police Auditorium Gulshan Ground, here.
22 contestants from District Jammu, Samba and Kathua already selected by the concerned Districts have shown their skill in solo singing competition.
Among these contestants in Sr. Category Surinder Kumar (male) of Samba, Sushmita (female) of Jammu, in Jr. Category Amit Bajnotra (male) of Samba and Versha Jamwal of Jammu (female) have been adjudged winners of the event.
In Sr. Category, Raman Salathia (male) of Samba, Shreya Gandral (female) of Jammu, in Jr. category, Karan Kumar (male) of Samba, Mehvish Sharma (female) of Jammu have been adjudged 1st runners-ups.
While as in Sr. Category, Mukesh Kumar (male) of Kathua, Ruksar Mugal (female) of Kathua, in Jr. category, Satish Bhagat (male) of Jammu and Baljeet Kour (female) of Samba have been adjudged 2nd runners-ups by the jury members. All these contestants were boosted with cash reward/mementos alongwith certificates by the chief guest, Danish Rana, IGP Jammu Zone on the occasion.
Prof Kalpana Kesar, Prof Anupama Sharma and Harish Kaila were the jury members.
Prominent among others SSP Jammu and SSP Samba witnessed the programme.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Rajnish Pran, SSP SO to DIG JSK Range, whereas Parshotam Sharma, Deputy Director Prosecution RPHQ Jammu was Nodal officer of the programme.
The programme was conducted under the overall supervision of Ashkoor Ahmed Wani, Deputy Inspector General of Police Jammu Samba Kathua Range Hqrs. Jammu, who presented the welcome address.
Parshotam Sharma, Dy. Director Prosecution RPHQ Jammu presented the vote of thanks.
