JAMMU, June 14: Range Police Jammu organized Range Level talent hunt show “Choona Hai Aasman- Season-4” at Police Auditorium Gulshan Ground, here today.
Shakeel Ahmed Beig, DIG Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion. Mr Beig was accompanied by SSP Jammu, Atul Kumar, SP South Jammu, Rahul Malik, Rajnish Pran SP SO to DIG Jammu, Ashok Sharma SP SO to IGP Jammu, Randhir Singh SP Hqrs and others.
DIG Jammu while speaking on the occasion said that the talent hunt show is organized every year under civic action programme to promote the talented youth in their respective skills especially in singing.
The talent hunt completions were earlier organized at District Jammu, Samba and Kathua. The winners/runners up at District level participated at Range level competition, whose performance was watched by the judges.
The winners at Range level competition will perform at Zonal Level and subsequently State level competitions. Beig applauded the performance of the children and also appreciated the efforts of J&K Police in its initiative for providing a platform to the budding talent of far flung areas of J&K State under Civic Action Programme.
From Senior male category Master Ashwani Kumar from Kathua, from senior female category Urvashi from Jammu, from Junior male category Master Akshay from Kathua, from Junior female category Varsha Jamwal from Jammu were declared winners and in senior male category Master Ankush from Jammu, from senior female category Ms Sushmita from Jammu, from junior male category Master Rohit Sharma from Kathua and from junior female category Anshu Sharma were declared Ist runners-up and from senior male category Master Nitish Kumar from Kathua, from senior female category Shivani Jamwal from Samba and from junior male category Master Kunwar from Jammu, from junior female category Ms Shivani Jamwal from Samba were declared 2nd runner ups.
Chief guest, DIG Jammu and SSP Jammu gave away the prizes to the winners.
