Rangoli Making Competition held

Students making Rangoli at Humanity Public School, Bari Brahmana on Wednesday.

JAMMU, Nov 6: An Inter-House Rangoli Making Competition was conducted in the premises of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, here today, in which the senior girls of four Houses namely Prithvi, Agni, Akash and Trishul participated.
Earlier, Principal of the School, Gaurav Charak highlighted the importance of the colours in one’s life. The students listened very patiently and pledged that they will try to add colours in the life of others as they fill different colours in their own made Rangolis.
The students participated in this competition with great enthusiasm.
In this one hour long competition, the students tried to prove their talent in the best possible way. They made different Rangolis depicting beautiful pictures of “Ganesh ji, Kalash, Kumbh and Peacock which is the ride of Mata Saraswati etc.
The adjudicators had to face tough time to judge the competitors.
The first position was secured by Rajni (10th), Neha (9th), Rumani (7th) and Neha (7th) of Prithvi House. Simmi (10th), Sakshi (10th), Pallvi (9th), and Isha (9th) of Agni House got second position. The third position was bagged by Shivani (10th), Priya (9th), Kajol (9th) and Vanshika (9th) of Akash House.
The competition was supervised by Rajni Sharma,  Sandeep Zutshi and Rekha Bamotra.
The judges were Sunita Kaur and Kanchan Chalotra.
