JAMMU, Feb 23: MLA Er Rashid from Langate along with some activists of AIP today held brief protest in front of the main gate of Civil Secretariat here against the killing of Mohammad Yaqoob at Sarore near Bari Brahmana and demanded compensation for the victim’s family.
The MLA along with some his party workers suddenly appeared at the Civil Secretariat during the day carrying placards and sat on dharna for some time. He alleged that State administration is being run by RSS patronage and they have one point agenda to target one community. He demanded judicial inquiry into the matter and compensation for the victim’s family.
