Rashtriya Rifles flags off girls’ educational tour

BHADERWAH, Aug 2: An Education Tour to Delhi, Agra and Ajmer for the young girl students from backward areas of Doda District was flagged off by Rashtriya Rifle Battalion under Delta Force from Bhaderwah.
SDM and DEO Bhaderwah were the prominent civil dignitaries present during the flag off ceremony.
The Tour will be visiting places of historical, educational and cultural interest in Delhi, Agra and Ajmer for a duration of 10 days upto August 10, 2015.
All the students were keen to proceed on this Tour and experience vivid aspects of culture of their motherland. For safety of the students, two teachers are also accompanying the Tour.
Before the flag off ceremony, the students were educated about the importance of acquainting them with the rich heritage and culture of the country.
The organizers said that the Tour would give them an opportunity to interact with people outside the State and also give them a deep insight into how peace and tranquility in other parts of the country had ushered prosperity and development.
The locals and officials of district administration have also expressed their gratitude to Indian Army for their concerted efforts in providing an opportunity to these girl students.
