JAMMU, Nov 14: Bringing laurels to the Jammu and Kashmir, Rayan S. Gupta and Arinn S. Gupta from Jammu shined at inaugural Capt JM Singh Cup, part of the Little Master Junior Golf Tour at Panchkula.
The two-day event attracted top junior golfers from Delhi, Chandigarh, and Jammu, competing in six age categories. The tournament was marked by tough playing conditions, with strong winds and challenging pin placements.
In the Boys’ 16-18 categories, the competition was fierce, with Krishna Kaila from Panchkula narrowly edging out Rayan S. Gupta from Jammu to claim the top spot. Gupta finished second, after a strong performance throughout the tournament.
The Boys’ 14-15 category witnessed Arinn S. Gupta from Jammu securing third place, behind Rannvijay S. Gill of Chandigarh and Gurjeet Singh of Panchkula. The Capt. JM Singh Cup showcased the promising talent of young golfers from the region, setting the stage for future editions of the tournament.
