RCC Srinagar, ICC, JKP register wins in Eid-Diwali Milan Cup

JAMMU, Nov 10:  RCC Srinagar, ICC and Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) registered emphatic wins and entered into the next round of the ongoing 3rd Eid-Diwali Milan T20 Cricket Cup, played at Gulshan Ground, here.
The first  match was played between RCC Srinagar and Cantt Cricket Club, wherein RCC scripted 4-wicket win.
Batting first, Cantt Club scored a decent total of 174  runs in the allotted 18 overs for loss of 6 wickets, with Vijay (68 in 38 balls), Rahul (35 in 25 balls) emerging as the main scorers. Dilbagh took 2 wickets, while  Ambrose, Rohit, Kuldeep and Satish  shared 1 wicket each.
RCC Club, in reply, achieved the target in last over of the match by losing 7 wickets. Satish scored 61 runs off 36 balls), while Sandeep Singh made quick-fire 37 runs off 22 balls. Parshotam took 3 wickets, while Arif bagged 2 and Dheeraj one. Satish was declared man of the match for his all-round performance.
In the second match, ICC scripted a comfortable win against Haryana  XI.
Batting Haryana made 113 runs in the allotted 16 overs for 8 wickets with Anil 22, Naveen 14 and Aman 13 runs were the main scorers for Haryana team. Arjun took 2 wickets, Aslam and Lada shared 1 wicket eah for ICC team.
In reply, ICC team  achieved the target in 11 overs for the 2 wickets. Atul made 53 runs, while Kaka contributed 33 runs. Surinder took both the wickets to fall for Haryana. Atul was declared man of the match.
Another match played between Royal Cricket Club and JKP XI.
Batting first, Royal Cricket Club scored 130 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Vishu made 56 runs, while Naman scored 15 runs for Royal Club. Shamsher Singh took 2 wickets, while Vishal and Balwan shared 1 wicket each.
In reply, JKP achieved the target in 18.1 overs for the loss of 2 wickets, thus won the match by 8 wickets.
Naresh and Farooq Ahmad scored unbeaten 65 and 50 runs. Naresh was declared man of the match for his superb  batting.
The matches were officiated by  Sadiq Hussain, Sunil Sambayal, Sandeep Manchanda, Suhail Yusuf , Farooq Ahmad and Yogesh.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Royal Club will take on Sai Cricket Club at 8 am, KC Sports Club will face Cantt Club at 11am and  Simula XI will lock horns with Tanishta Club at 1pm.
