JAMMU, Nov 7: Ranjit College of Education (RCE) organized lectures.
The lectures were delivered by Er Manmeet Singh, Chairman RCE and Prof (Dr) GQ Sheikh.
Er Manmeet Singh in his lecture on time management stressed upon proper utilization of time so that purpose of life is achieved. In his lecture, Manmeet Singh exemplified time by birth to death. Every moment in life is precious, it should be meaningful and devotional, he added.
Dr GQ Sheikh while speaking on RTE (2009) highlighted that RTE (2009) is an Act of the Parliament of India enacted on 4 August 2009 describing the modalities of the importance of free and compulsory education for children between 6-14 years age under Article 21-A of the Constitution.
Dr Sheikh said that India is one among the 135 countries of the World to make education a Fundamental Right of every child when the Act came into force on 1-4-2010.
