JAMMU, Sept 22: Veteran bodybuilder Rahul Dev Manhas from Jammu has once again made Jammu and Kashmir proud by clinching top honours at the ICN Bali World Series, held from September 21 to 22 at Bali Sanur, Indonesia. Competing in the Masters 50+ category, Manhas became the overall champion, securing two gold medals in Fitness and Masters Physique, despite being over 60 years old.
The ICN Bali Indonesia International event is a part of the prestigious ICN World Series, which brings together natural athletes from across the globe. Rahul’s remarkable performance kept the Indian flag flying high in a competition that featured participants from countries such as Malaysia, Australia, South Korea, and India. Notably, the competition was exclusively for athletes who refrain from using body-enhancing drugs or anabolic steroids.
Rahul’s journey to the World Series began at the ICN Delhi Nationals held in July, where he qualified for the international event. Out of the Indian contingent, only three participants represented the country at the ICN Bali event, and Rahul’s victory was a testament to his dedication, discipline and natural bodybuilding prowess.
Rahul’s triumph in Bali has added another milestone to his illustrious bodybuilding career, further enhancing his legacy as a champion. His achievement not only brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir but also to the entire nation, showcasing the potential of natural athletes in the global arena.
