UDHAMPUR, Sept 2: The Ration Dealers Association (RDA) today held a meeting and discussed various problems being faced by the dealers in the district.
During the meeting, the dealers expressed their anguish and resentment over the callous attitude of the higher authorities of CAPD for not releasing any funds for carriage/commission/ loading/unloading for the last one and half year due to which they are suffering very badly.
They alleged that only District Udhampur is being discriminated whereas all other districts of Jammu province are getting full quota of ration or kerosene oil and timely receipt of carriage charges for ration dealers etc, but the monthly sanctioned quota of the district is being diverted to other districts.
The association demanded the personal intervention of Minister of CAPD, Director Vigilance Organisation and Commissioner Secretary, CAPD Department to expose the big bulls in the Directorate of CAPD, Jammu who have put a loss of crores of rupees to State Ex-chequer.
