HIRANAGAR, Mar 4: The Rural Development Department employees of Hiranagar continued the protest for the second day today against the harassment caused to some employees by Sarpanch, Suresh Kumar.
The employees raising slogans were on dharna in front of Hiranagar RDD Office and demanded action against the erring Sarpanch.
They said they will continue dharna till the action is taken against the Sarpanch and some senior officer of the Department gives assurance to them in this regard.
The protestors said that senior officer should intervene in the matter otherwise they will continue strike.
The employees went on strike on Saturday in protest against the highhandedness of the Sarpanch.
