JAMMU, Feb 24: Real Kashmir Football Club and Lone Star Football Club defeated their rivals convincingly in the ongoing 1st Maharaja Hari Singh Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament 2018, being organized under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Football ground, here. In the first match played today, Real Kashmir defeated J&K Forest XI by two goals to one (2-1). The 1st goal was scored by Bernard of Real Kashmir in 13th minute, while the 2nd goal was scored by Sameer Hussain of J&K Forest in 64th minute. However, the 3rd goal of the match and the second goal of Real Kashmir was scored by Kamlesh in 80th minute.
In another match, Loan Star trounced Jammu United by two goals to nil (2-0). The 1st goal was scored by Amanjot in 35th minute, while the 2nd goal was netted by Karan in 71st minute.
The matches were officiated by Ricky Kumar, Rocky Sharma, Vijay Kumar, Koshal Sharma, Suresh Gupta, Rakesh Kumar, Dheeraj Meenia and Mohinder Kalsi (Physio)
Muzamil Mehmood, renowned footballer, ZA Thakur, President JKFA and Sheikh Mehmood, President Jammu Wing were the guests of honour in today’s proceedings.
