REASI, Nov 8: A prominent businessman of Reasi and former Municipal Councilor of the town, Suraj Parkash Sharma died today in a road accident.
The accident took place when a Swift car, being driven by Suraj Parkash, slipped into nallah at Sule Morh this evening around 7 p.m.
He was rushed to District Hospital Reasi where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his critical condition. However, soon after his admission in GMC, he succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased was owner of Suraj Palace Hotel and father of Youth Congress leader Amit Sharma.
