Reasi, Sept 3 :The District level Inter Zonal Tournament in the discipline of kabaddi and kho-kho for Under -19 girls got underway at Government HS Kambal Danga, here today
Tina Mahajan, Block Development Officer Reasi was the chief guest on the occasion and Romal Singh, Headmaster Govt High School Kambal Danga was the guest of honour
Speaking on the occasion Tina Mahajan boosted the morale and encouraged the women part to take active part in sports work hard to become strong to face and overcome the evils of the society with yielding will power and sporting spirit.
Romal Singh also urged the participants to work hard with a set goal in mind as in the world of sports.
The tournament was organized under the overall supervision of Dr Swaran Singh Chib, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Reasi.
The matches were officiated by the Technical Committee constituted by the District Youth Services & Sports Office Reasi.
Kabaddi : In Final, Reasi Zone beat Pouni Zone by 7 pts. The Final scores were 38-31. The 1st half scores were 14-13.
Kho-Kho : In Final, Arnas Zone beat Reasi Zone by 5 pts. The Final scores were 11-6. The 1st innings score were 7-3.
