Red Cross organizes Medical Camp in RBA

JAMMU, Oct 31: To provide proper health check up to the poor/needy people of remote and Reserved Backward Areas of Jammu Region, Indian Red Cross Society, Region Jammu organized a Medical Check up/Relief distribution Camp at Village Barigarh which is reserved backward areas of Tehsil Majalta District, Udhampur.
During the camp about 150 patients were examined by Dr Rohini Bhan, Medical Officer, Red Cross Dispensary who was assisted by Anil Kumar, Sup Ophthalmic Asstt,  Sohan Lal, Pharmacist and  Tripta Devi, LHV. Free medicines were also provided to the poor patients.
Besides this relief items in shape of Blankets, Kitchen sets, Sweaters and Biscuits were also distributed among the poor/needy people of the area.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Sita Ram Sharma, Executive Committee Member of IRCS, Jammu Region.
The Camp was organized under the Supervision of its Hony Secretary,  R C Puri.
