JAMMU, Apr 2: Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has urged upon the Governor’s Administration to release 12 % DA of the State employees and pensioners.
In a meeting of the EJAC held here under the chairmanship of senior trade unionist Abdul Qayoom Wani, the members urged upon the State authorities to release 12% DA in favour of employees and pensioners, enhance the Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 3000 per month and frame a policy for the time bound regularization of temporary/ daily rated workers.
Senior members Ganesh Khajuria, Vinod Sharma, Narinder Singh, Paramjit Singh, Mohd Rafiq and Rajinder Gupta also attended the meeting.
