JAMMU, Apr 3: Relief holders and over aged youth in a meeting at Jagti camp today held under the leadership of Ajay Bhat and Sunil Pandita urged the Government not to delay the decision regarding the enhancement of cash relief further in view of sky rocketing prices of essential commodities.
The meeting said that the relief holders will hold protest demonstration on May 5 regarding the fulfillment of the demands of displaced Pandits which include settlement of all pending cases including solution of problems of Jagti inmates, enhancement of relief, release of ration in time, bifurcation of ration cards, issuance of Backward certificates and one time compensation to over aged youth as well as revamping of relief organization as a whole.
