JAMMU, Apr 9: A religious congregation was held at Swami Kumar Ji Geeta Satsangh Ashram Muthi where Samohik Yagnopavit ceremony of 14 Hindu boys was performed under the patronage of Swami Kumar Ji today.
The atmosphere in and around the ashram was all spiritual as the lads laden in Saffron clothing gave a celestial look with all grandeur around.
The devotees around were chanting Gaytri Maha Mantra explanation of which was given by Swami Kumar Ji and other scholars on the occasion.
Swami Ji and other scholars while explaining the Gaytri Maha Mantra said “by chanting this we pray the creator of this universe to guide our intellect in right direction”.
The celebrations started yesterday evening and it culminated with Puranahuti this evening. This was followed with serving of Prashad to devotees.
The function was attended by Swami Mohan Bab Ji Maharaj, Ram Paul, ex Minister, Prof A N Sadhu a well known scholar and Ashok Kaul of Migrant Cell RDS.
