Religious procession taken out on Nirwan Divas of Sant Kabir

JAMMU, Mar 10: All J&K Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha today observed 501st Kabir Nirwan Divas’ at Kabir Bhawan Chak Avtara, Bishnah.
The function was attended by the people from all the districts of Jammu division especially from Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Udhampur and Reasi.
A grand Shoba-Yatra was taken out on this day which started from Bari-Brahmna and passed through Deoli-Salehar-Arnia to finally culminate at Kabir Bhawan, Chak Avtara in Bishnah.
The devotees were singing devotional songs and the Shoba Yatra was welcomed by the public en-route.
Various Jhankies depicting different aspects of Sadguru Kabir’s spiritual life were part of the Shoba Yatra.
The spiritual discourse was delivered by Dina Nath of Punjab who is a disciple of Mahatma Shri Chandi Ram Ji.
Life and teachings of Kabir Ji were lauded by the preachers.
President of Kabir Sabha, F.C Bhagat while addressing the gathering said Sant Kabir is a guiding beam of enlightenment and spiritual attainment from whom we all felt inspired and drew strength.
He appealed to the people of Bhagat community to unite on a common platform and maintain a positive approach for the proper upliftment of the community.
Prominent among those who attended and spoke on the occasion were Mula Ram, Ex-Minister, J.L Bhagat, Prof Garu Ram Bhagat, G.R Bhagat and others.
