Removing of garbage from Jagti nallah demanded

JAMMU, Apr 15: The inmates of Jagti township have appealed the Relief authorities to remove the garbage thrown into a nallah in Jagti township as it has created health hazards in the area.
In a statement issued here, today Ravinder Kaul a representative of relief holders and a social activist said that in view of spread of COVID-19, the people of the township have become panicky with the dumping of the garbage in the nallah which is being also burnt by some people creating health hazards in the area.
He appealed the Relief authorities to engage men and machinery in removing the garbage from the area to clean the surroundings in the township. In view of the prevailing threat of Corona Virus cleaning of the area has become imperative and any laxity in this regard will put the people to danger, he added.
