Repair Cremation Ghat Devika bridge

We want to draw the attention of the District Administration Udhampur towards the oldest bridge in Devika which has suffered damage and may collapse anytime now. The bridge needs immediate repairs as it is the only link which connects the town with the Cremation Ghat at Devika. The matter had been brought into the notice of the administration, but so far no action has been take on it.
It may be mentioned here that a huge gathering collects on the bridge whenever there is a mourning procession.
Therefore, the administration is once again requested to get the bridge repaired.

Maintain Jammu-Srinagar National Highway
This is to draw the attention of the concerned department that the road stretch from Hari Palace to Nagrota on Jammu Srinagar Highway is in a deplorable condition.
This zig zag stretch which has developed numerous pot-holes all along it cause great inconvenience to motorists to negotiate its curves smoothly. Being a busy road, the road needs to be maintained regularly so as to avoid accidents.
We hope the authorities may look into the matter at the earliest.

Contaminated water in Upper Gadi Garh
We wish to draw the kind attention of PHE Department towards the supply of dirty water in our locality. The water supplying pipes were laid about 35 years ago and these were never replaced, as a result, we are getting dirty water from these pipes which have got broken at several points and the water from drainage gets into them. Now, we are getting contaminated water and as a result of which some people who have been using it have contacted several water borne diseases. We have informed the concerned authorities about this problem but nothing was done till now and still we are using it.
So the higher ups in the PHE departments are once again urged to resolve this issue and supply safe potable water to the residents.

Shifting of electric transformer
I purchased a small piece of land at Lane No. 4, Roop Nagar Enclave Block ‘B’ Jammu in the year 2006. The plot was properly fenced with boundary wall and entrance door. In the year 2018, I came to know that some influential people through their contacts in Electric Deptt. installed Electrical Transformer in front of the entrance door of my plot in my absence. I immediately objected the move through my speed post letter dated 24/12/2018 addressed to Asstt. Executive Engineer, PDD Janipur, Jammu. Despite my objection, the said Electric transformer was got installed in total violations to all the norms set for installing the Electric transformer as it was installed only for 5 to 6 households.
I constructed a small house after getting the necessary building permission from the concerned Govt. authorities and have been requesting the PDD officers for the last more than four years for shifting the said transformer in front of the gate of my house but till date no concrete action in the matter has been taken. I am facing lot of difficulty even to bring my small house hold goods ( Bed, Almirah etc ) in the house as the entrance has been blocked by the so called Law enforcing authorities of the Government.
It is requested to the higher officials in the department to get the transformer shifted to another suitable place.
